General Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions:

SG LINK is a reputable international courier service provider in Vietnam.

The Sender refers to the party receiving the courier service from SG LINK under a corresponding agreement.

The Recipient refers to the person receiving the parcel to be delivered.

A Parcel is any document or package containing goods sent according to a bill of lading and transported by a third party chosen by SG LINK. Each Parcel is transported according to the liability limits defined below.

2. Prohibited Goods:

SG LINK will not accept or deliver any Parcel containing Prohibited Goods as defined below. Prohibited Goods include, but are not limited to, the following items:

  • Parcels containing opium, opium derivatives, drugs, or stimulants.
  • Parcels containing weapons, ammunition, military equipment, or parts of firearms, imitation weapons.
  • Parcels containing obscene materials, subversive publications, documents that disrupt public order, or materials against the State of Vietnam.
  • Parcels containing items that infringe on intellectual property rights, including counterfeit goods or unauthorized merchandise.
  • Parcels containing flammable, explosive materials, hazardous substances that are unsanitary or cause environmental pollution.
  • Parcels containing cash or alternative payment methods.
  • Parcels prohibited for circulation, export, or import via postal services.

SG LINK has the right to open and inspect a Parcel without notice if there is suspicion that the Parcel contains prohibited goods.

The Sender agrees to indemnify SG LINK for any losses or damages arising from third-party compensation claims.

3. Shipping Fees:

All Parcels will be weighed by SG LINK to determine the shipping charge.

The shipping fee will be calculated based on the greater of the actual weight or volumetric weight.

4. Sender's Responsibilities:

The Sender has the right to complain and request compensation for material damage according to the company's published or previously agreed-upon terms.

Provide accurate information about the goods and complete the front side of the bill of lading, ensuring the Recipient's address is clear to avoid loss of goods.

Take full responsibility if goods are confiscated, destroyed, or returned by the importing country due to sending prohibited items, non-compliant goods without declaring to SG LINK.

For fragile, sensitive, or specialized items, please inform SG LINK staff to receive guidance on safe handling and packaging.

5. SG LINK's Responsibilities

Pick up parcels from the Sender's location on time as per prior requests.

Verify the legality of the order, accurately weigh the parcel.

SG LINK is responsible for ensuring the safety of the parcel until it is successfully delivered. Provide tracking information and delivery updates to the customer.

SG LINK will not handle complaints for delays caused by the following external reasons: Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods...), armed conflict, strikes, congestion at transit airports; delays caused by customs authorities in the destination country.

SG LINK will not be legally responsible in the following cases:

  • The Sender cannot prove that the Parcel was intact before being handed over to SG LINK.
  • The Parcel was confiscated or destroyed according to applicable laws and regulations.
  • The Sender has no documentation proving the Parcel was sent via SG LINK.
  • In cases of force majeure such as earthquakes, pandemics, floods, wars, riots, airspace bans, radiation contamination, etc.

6. Independence of Terms:

Any term that is invalid or unenforceable will not affect the remaining terms of this agreement.
